Christmas in pictures

So Christmas is finally over! Our Christmas was pretty laid back. Just my parents, my brother and little miss but it was fun anyways.

Hope you all had a fantastic family filled Christmas day =)

Christmas dessert/treat recipe

It's day six and today I'm sharing this delicious dessert below!!!

Mousse de Maracuja or Passion Fruit Mousse
is one of my favorite Holiday dessert or anytime dessert for that matter

It's super easy to make and it tastes sooo good!!
Be advised that I would recommend preparing a day before so it chills.

I never made it in small serving bowls like above. I always prepare it in a large serving bowl and guests would just serve themselves. Moving along now...

INGREDIENTS

1 bottle of maracuja /passion fruit
make sure it's pure passion fruit any brand will work
You can find this at your local grocery store. I buy it at shoppers.

1 can of sweetened condensed milk
you 'll find this at your baking section of your grocery store

1 can of creme de leite / nestle media crema (table cream)
again, you can find this in the baking section of your grocery store

DIRECTIONS

I hope you understand...

In a blender add:
1 can of sweetened condensed milk.
Then, in that same can of sweetened condensed milk, use it to measure the amount of 1 can of passion fruit juice NOT the whole bottle of passion fruit juice.
Then, open the table cream and remove the liquid on top and pour the creme into the blender.
Blend all the ingredients for a few minutes (2-3minutes) or until everything is blended.
Make sure it's not liquidy. Consistency should be thick but not watery. Kind of like a smoothie or milkshake.
Pu it into a bowl and place it in the refrigerator.
Let it chill for a few hours or overnight and serve!

You can decorate it if you wish
Some people add unflavored gelatin to make it firmer but I think it changes the taste and consistency!

Bon Appetit

Holiday Fun

Day 5 is all about CLOTHES
More specifically, holiday outfits for Christmas and New Years Eve!!!!

I already have a dress in my closet that I bought and never worn that would be perfect for Christmas!!!
I just need some jewelry to go with it =)
Pictures will be posted come Christmas.
However,
These are the dresses I tried on this past week that I've been thinking of wearing for New Year Eve
I LOVE all 3 of them and am having a hard time deciding..
I'm going back this weekend to actually take one of these baby home!!

and then there's

1.   The holiday season is     a time for family and friends with good food and great memories  .

2.   Snow makes me   excited and want to go outside and play with little miss   .

3.  The best comfort food to eat when it's cold out is    soup    .

4. Winter is the best time for    cozying up in front of the fire place with a warm beverage and cozy socks and avoiding the commercial chaos at the malls   .

5.  I can hardly wait for   getting our Christmas tree and decorating the house and tree .

6.  When it comes to holiday gifts I prefer to    to get them done early or else the whole holiday gift buying becomes stressful instead of fun. I rush to find something that probably isn't even meaningful. With that being said, I like to get them done early and take my time .

7.  If I were to rate my excitement about the holiday season on a scale from 1-10, I would say I am at about a    8-9  because there's still a lot of stuff to get done. The more that gets completed the more excited I get about the Holidays  .
